As I understand English, discrimination is just the OPPOSITE of picking and
choosing. Without discrimination one cannot grasp the whole theosophical
system. And theosophy is not a hodgepodge system but a complete system.
Picking out some pieces from theosophy and ignore all the rest of it is
leads to dogmatism and fundamentalism and contradictions, contradictions,
contradictions you, Jerry see always (as you said yourself).

 Frank

I would like to suggest That before anyone can discriminate, they should have
developed the power of discernment. To be able tell the difference between
the real and the unreal, the worthy and the worthless is to be able to make
intelligent and valuable discriminatory choices, Without discernment one is
not making choices (discriminating) at all. One is merely rolling the dice.
