Dear Eldon:

Have delayed answering as I wanted to think this over.

To me there is often quite a difference between the position of
the "personality" - or the embodied brain mind, and
The "Individuality" - or the Higher Manas as an Ideal.

This does not mean that I (or anyone else I might consider) is
totally aware of the Universal View of the Higher Manas. I think
that each one is aware for himself how much the light of the
Higher falls on the decisions and choices of the Lower Mind.

The dividing point is the isolation of selfish benefit, or the
impersonality and universality of performing an action with the
sole motive of benefiting another. And that is a most difficult
thing to determine from this point of view.

I think that any change of attitude is gradual and depends always
on the amount of practice we enforce on our "lower selves-our
"personality"

Would you agree ?

Dal
