In a message dated 98-11-20 05:50:26 EST, you write:

<< Oh you meant Theo!! Yes, I know him, just don`t like the look in his
 eyes...

Anyway, what did you meant ´theosophy into politics´? That some TS
should turn into a political party with some agenda or what?

There was a time when the TS was very actively involved in politics and nearly
got it's nose severely bloodied because it was backing the fascists. If you
can get to the Olcott Library, take a look at the the Adyar Theosophists
during the 1920's, particularly a rather long, two part article praising
Mussolini's Italy published in 1925 (I think, it's been a while since I read
it but it is around that time).

A real good, ableit terribly boring to read, book on the subject of TS and
similar organizations in politics is The Occult Establishment by James Webb.

The major problem with folks like Theosophists getting involved in politics is
that they are full of idealism and enthusiasm and don't realize what an
incredibly dirty and unpleasant business politics is, thus their survival rate
becomes very low. The most they usually manage to accomplish is to make the
comedy column of the Wall Street Journal.
