In a sense, I agree that we should check what HPB had to say, or not
say, about a subject. But I think everyone here is missing an important
point -- when we "check" her writings, we always tend to interpret it
to suit ourselves, or more to the point, we tend to understand what we
are karmically able to understand and nothing more.

As far as subtle "bodies" are concerned (and Globes and planes as well)
we will absolutely never understand these teachings just from reading
words, and it doesn't matter who wrote them. It is only after direct
experience in the inner planes while consiousness focuses through
these bodies that any of this stuff can make any sense. And after such
direct experiences, the names and words that we use don't really make
much difference any more. I see little real difference between principle,
body, or vehicle, simply because there are none in my experiences.
Until I experience any differences, I will continue to equate the three.
