Dear Bart:

Other than hearsay (where ?) there is no known evidence that HPB
smoked "hashish" or anything except tobacco. Now if you do have
some reference that is valid I would like to hear of it.

Thanks

Dallas

Hashish was not considered to be illicit until the 1930's.

As far as the methods you have said you have used, you must
realize
that the 4th root race had a very advanced system of magic. Much
of it
still exists (the Mahatmas pointed out that the Australian
Aborigines
have the remnants of that magic, which has been misinterprted as
saying
that the Australian Aborigines are members of the 4th root race).
Yes,
you can do quite a bit with kama-based magic. But it is a
dead-end. When
the primary literature talks about the dangers of magic, it is
the
temptation of sticking with the much easier to use kamic magic,
rather
than going on to the evolutionary and much more difficult to use
budhic
magic.
