Is that really usual until today that someone is barred from one TS? I
thought it is all history and we only in Germany have such problems with
rivalry. As far as I know the Point Loma books are listed both in the Adyar
as well as in the Pasadena catalogues. I assumed they are all working now
together. I hope you are misinformed. OTOH comes the curious article by Alan
Donant in one of the last Theosophical History issues in my mind with many
slanders against Elsie Benjamin and Emmett about the Conger/Long affair.
They changed radically the method the Outer Head tooks office like it was
usually by HPB, Judge, Judge and also GdeP. They all declared not themself
but were recognized by their chelas because of their fitness and their
spiritual and intellectual development. Under the Conger/Long duo that
changed radically. They required it with brutal force and so the true chelas
of GdeP were all kicked off and banned. Therefore it is true that both
declared themselves as Esoteric Leaders, canceled the memberships of many
intimate co-workers of KT and GdeP, closed the ES and moved from Covina to
Pasadena/Altadena. They took the money and the possessions, but if that all
is true the Pasadena TS is an entirely new society and has nothing to do
with the Point Loma TS. High time that both sides should present the
documents before the public so that each Theosophist could come to his/her
own conclusions. In the Internet era there is no more place for secretcy.
