Both -- but her clairaudience or telepathy with her flesh & blood gurus
was not trance-like or passive.

>2. (I'm only grasping here). As the Higher Self is called a True Sun which

>light possess the same quality and nature of the Source? And if so...

Yes; although I think the vitalizing, energic aspect of the sun/light
simile is closer to the real nature of Atman -- rather than the
illumination, revelation one.

>3. Partaking of the light leads us to seek the Source of the Light. Is this
>our True Self and True Will?

The partaking & seeking are not True Self, but almost unavoidable
attitudes on the path. As for true will -- I will have to ponder on that
one much more.

>4. If Atma comes (I don't know how) from the First Cause, does it possess a
>personality, attributes or/and character? If so, is it our aim to become one
>with the personality &c.?

Since humans, adepts & buddhas included, have personas, then in a sense
Atma does vitalize and support our characters. But our true atmic nature
is impersonal (not anti-personal) -- just Reality, Bliss, Awareness,
Eternity & Purity -- as Shankara puts it.

>5. Is Atma and Buddhi already merged together, or is this also part of the
>Great Work as in the merging of Manas and Buddhi?

Too deep for me.

>And last but not least...

>6. Is channelling the art of concentrating a beam of the light from the
>"Sun" into the Mind?

Living is the art of radiating throughout our actions, words & deeds
qualities that promote (and are) divine. Rays such as virtue, compassion,
patience, wisdom etc. Channelling smacks too much of an inner
"technology" which may put distance between our reality and our
personalities.
