On freedom:
Dallas offers:
Would it not be correct to say that if we can think of it, then
in some part of our nature we do have it. How, what, is our
power to select or reject such a consideration ? Where does that
power come from ?
Question is: What part of our Nature ? Who or what asks the
question? Why ? What is doubtful of freedom in us ? If so,
again, Why ?
Seems to me we are leading ourselves into the difficult path of
self-examination. What are our constituents as conditions of
consciousness and
The ability to pass through those states, observe them, inquire
into their potential results, and yet remain UNMODIFIED.
What is UNMODIFIED in us ? The body changes so do the feeling
and the mind. What is superior ? What is Intuition ? what uses
Intuition ? Who then is the PERCEIVER, the WITNESS, the OBSERVER
within us ? What is the REAL MAN or REAL WOMAN ?
Theosophy sys it is the HIGHER SELF. I know of several places
where one can secure definitions along this line. The first is
the KEY TO THEOSOPHY, the 2nd is the S D , and the 3rd will be in
HPB's TRANSACTIONS OF THE BLAVATSKY LODGE (pp 66 - 76 ). But who
goes there to look and to discover ?
Best wishes,
Dallas

Therefore "freedom" has nothing to do with being free *from*
something/anything. Oneness IS.
