So is our physical waking state. You can't have cause without effect.
The notion that you can go to one place and suffer causes and then
go to another place and suffer effects is silly because it is plain
impossible. Our dreams take place on the astral, right next door
to kamaloka, and yet our dreams can cause effects to take place
when we are awake if we recall them. When HPB teaches us this
stuff, we have to remember that she means "mainly"--in the sense
that our dreams are mainly effects and our waking actions and
thoughts are mainly causes. I think a lot of folks have been given
the wrong idea on this topic by taking HPB too literally.

So does our physcial state.
