In a message dated 98-08-29 20:00:05 EDT, you write:

<< It is very easy to pass moral judgment when you're not the one facing
the wrong side of a gun.

 	Bart Lidofsky >>

And there is no mental action more worthless than determining a course of
action on the basis of another person's morality. If a burglar gets in my
house, I shoot him. I don't debate morality or karma, I just put out a clip
full of little pieces of lead and then rather than worry about the silly legal
niceties, dump the body in the nearest river., clean up the mess and go out
for a nice dinner.

It has been over 30 years since I worried about whether an action is moral or
not and I must confess I have never missed the worry.
