James Perkins was also an artist.  His book VISUAL MEDITATIONS
OF THE UNIVERSE contains 34 color plates of his art work, symbolic
visualizations of theosophical themes.  These visions are undoubtedly
a carry-over from a very profound OBE which occurred when he was
almost killed in a car crash.
