Advantages of Personal

>I don't think it is a question of advantages but a question of reality.
It is a
>question of returning to the state we came from and of going home.

> None of the view
>points of impersonalism when anaylised are possible, even the buddhist
ones. The
>answers create more problems than they answer. This is how I have found
it. You may
>find it different. Yet no one has yet put forward an Impersonal Viewpoint
that can
>stand in my view.

I think here you are referring for one to HPB's description of the Absolute
as Unconditional and Unknowable. This is a very interesting topic to
consider for most theosophists and I hope we can continue with it until we
have exhausted our resources, (so to speak. See, I can depend upon all of
you to be my resources in areas where I am unlearned.) Allan, please don't
take this wrong, but I consider you to be a person of some depth of study
and thought and these people are rare and "privileged" in my realm.

Caitanya Mahaprabu contested this very thing with the leading
>impersonal masters of his time and besides giving more points that I can
think of to
>show his point and disprove impersonalism, he brought all these great
impersonalist
>Yogis to his view. Unfortunately I don't have the the ability of Caitanya
>Mahaprabhu. Under scrutiny the advanced sage will find that everything
else is simply
>partial or illusory.

I was preparing a description of a beautiful flame which I have encountered
in my study. Most people recognize HPB's rendition of many beautiful
flames in her writing. I would love to see a compilation of all the
possible "flames" and their distinctiveness, but for now I will just
mention that I was going to use one particular flame I am familiar with to
approach the discussion, but somehow the flame falls short of doing justice
to your thinking after reading what you wrote here.

For the sake of looking at something paralyzed now after hearing you, I'll
give a short account. The Elohim is a sevenfold flame spread in a fan.
This is held over the third eye in the center of the forehead and has
rainbow colors. The Elohim are also present at the heart level in a
threefold manner, blue, yellow, and pink. This is called the Unfed Flame
by a tradition I am familiar with. There is also something called the
"Power of the Three times Three" and for my purposes, expand something that
is threefold into something seven-fold by committing two rays (surrounding
the central trinity) to be shared, each ray on the side of the center ray
being shared by the two rays on each side, making each a set of three, but
with a sharing occurring in the center trinity of two of its rays.

No one has ever explained this visualization to me, and it is completely
open to individual interpretation, but for my own use, I sometimes present
the three flames on the blue side (and colored by me as blue,
green(flashing gold), and violet) as the human energy. The three flames in
the top portion are violet (again), white, and gold(flashing green, as
these two form a ninety degree angle) and form the cosmic beings of light,
to include the Solar Logos and the Sun Presence in life. The three flames
on the right side or pink side are representative of Ascended Master
Energies (at our present time) and constitute the shared Gold ray, the pink
and another Violet of a different hue, perhaps. These are very beautiful
sacred energies to me which combine into a magnificent body of Elohim,
which are sevenfold, but also one.

I wanted to present the top trinity as impersonal because beyond our human
way of knowing, but the picture lacks something now and I think I'd rather
accept your point that all life does exist in Personal forms, but that what
can we do with Blavatsky's common Absolute definition? Maybe other people
here will have some ideas.

>There is no darkness in the other.

This is a place where I can escape to through liberation and content myself
that no life I contact there deals with darkness. I'M INTERESTED!
