Have to try - some can manage a bit more, and we already have
promises from local family and friends which could make all the
difference when "topping up" a fund.

I fear "need" doesn't come into it - my friend is seriously ill, and is at
serious risk. He knows it, and is afraid of his own illness. Such drugs as
can be used, are. They are not enough, and the side effects can be
worse than the complaint.

All avenues are being explored, believe me! Any funds that turn out to
be unusable, either for the deemed objctive, or for use in housing
emergency, will go the to RSPCA.
If anyone thinks that I would issue such a seemingly impossible plea to
theosophy lists compsed for the most part of ordinary folk of average
means without good reason will realaise that this a plea from the heart,
not the head (though the head is working overtime, you may be sure).
Sincerely,
Alan
Drops of rain fall and collect in a pool. Each material offering of
practical help for Alan for his friend will make a goodly
collection. the rain has already started...to fall....to refresh their hearts
One way to say... it can be made POSSIBLE
How about" the well" in the I Ching
"..The well from which water is drawn conveys the further idea of an
inexhaustible dispensing of nourishment." For us that can give a
donation, so be it. For those that can give positive regard so be it.
But the negative thought pattern expressed on the list, can be overcome by a firm confirmation
of sympathy. Alan simply asked for help.He did so because it is of
vital immediate necessity.. For your seriously ill friend, Alan, let
us hope the outcome will be very positive. soonest.
