Alan comments: I noticed. There are always those - especially in so-called "theosophical" circles, who do this. It is why I left the Adyar society. I had been president of my local lodge for two years, treasurer for one, a premises officer [not a real "office"] for just over a year, when I was illegally dismissed because of the power trips of certain members. I spoke regularly at meetings, and was at least once a quarter the lecturer for the evening. I have even lectured at the London HQ. I joined to serve. I tried very hard to serve, but was shat upon by my own "colleagues" - but I still try. viz. below: --------- THEOSOPHY INTERNATIONAL: Working for a New Age: http://www.nellie2.demon.co.uk/ E-mail: TI@nellie2.demon.co.uk
