Yes, I know, M.K. I do not question the teaching about helping
others. What puzzles me is GdeP's saying that we defend others, but
not ourselves.

Are you talking about a stage of Adeptship? If so, then was GdeP
addressing the more advanced Adepts only, and not the rest of the
practical Theosophists?
Also, it would be nice if others were that silly and stupid. But
they're not. :-)
