Dear Estrella:

How are we to consider practical things and do them ?

If we live in a Universe which runs by certain laws, then we will
all do better if we find and know those laws, No ?

Metaphysics (like maths) may be one of the ways of describing those
LAWS, No ?

Consider with me the following"

A CIRCLE:    .    .    .        .    .    .    .    .     O
Could signify all  or  nothing

in occultism it is used as a symbol for the UNIVERSE

It can also signify "SPIRIT " or the ULTIMATE GOOD

where everything is in order, and there is no confusion.

CIRCLE with a DIAMETER (--) A symbol for
the division of SPIRIT and MATTER

when MANIFESTATION begins as an IDEA, a thought.

But there is always as a background the original great

CIRCLE -- HPB calls it the ABSOLUTE -- as a Source

for everything it is always there as an IDEAL. It has no

limitations and so it cannot be described by us.

>From IT comes the quality of MIND -- of THINKING. |And

because we think we can see both "GOOD" and "BAD."

But, we the thinker are neither "good" nor "bad."

TRIANGLE    .    .    .    .    .    .    .        /  \
Represents SPIRIT - MATTER - MIND
                                                              ___

MATTER        .    .    .    .    .    .    .    .   ___
the BOTTOM LINE is a symbol for matter.

This idea is the basis for Pythagoras Triangle which looks like
this

                                                                *
1        }
                                                             *
*                         2        }        SPIRITUAL NATURE  =  3
                                                           *    *
*                      3        }
                                                        *    *    *
*                    4        }                material Nature
=  7

____                                                      ____

                    Total :
10                                                             10

This is only a way of using geometrical symbols to mean actual
conditions of spirit and matter as a basis for practice.

PRACTICE

    1. To study and to learn

    2. To share what ewe learn with others.

    3. To always inquire into the basic meaning of
statements, so TRUTH can be made clear. In this way
                    we become wiser. this is the hardest part.

    4. To be gentle with others and giving. Compassion, and
Mercy.

    5. To help in every situation where we are either
observers or are involved, in the best way we know.

    6. Never to blame another for his ignorance or
foolishness. He is also an immortal being although
                    his spiritual nature may be veiled and
therefore not able to operate now. It can change

    7. Always be the best and do the best we know how, and
try to become wiser.

If you and others will think over these ideas more I am sure will
come out for our joint use.

        Best wishes,            Dallas
