Re:Ed Abdill's Post

Yes, it could be related to the ES or Co-M. Whatever the source, I'm deeply
concerned that an organization based upon fraternity, and talks of promoting
"understanding and fellowship among people of all races, nationalities,
philosophies and religions" is so filled with secrecy, intrigue and political game
playing. I have to laugh at Ed Abdill's comment that if anyone "disagrees with
officials", they might run for office. For many of us, the debacle of Bing
Escudero's attempt to run for office is still fresh in our minds. Ed, of all
people knows very well how nasty theosophical politics can get when someone not
sanctioned by the inner circle of power holders tries to enter that circle,
therefore I can only interpret his remark as an attempt to deflect the real
issues.
