I need to add some factual information.

I am yet to see any elected (Adyar TS) National or International officer
use the maillists - theos-l series or theos-talk mailists or alt.theosophy
newsgroup to further Theosophy or TS. All these are free forums - no cost
to subscribe.

Even in situations dealing with factual info where there were posts based
on erroneous factual information, none of them took the trouble to post
correct info.

Couple of years ago, there were some posts based on incorrect info
regarding Adyar leadership past and present and none of the elected
officials cared to post correct information. I finally ended up with
posting a detailed msg with correct factual information.

The fundamental issue is one of using the new medium to further the
interests of Theosophy and TS.
