i asked joan to jot down a few of the sites that came to the top of her head.
i was in a hurry due to the fact that it was after 12 noon and i had to get
back to my office in downtown chicago.  these are what i received.  it was my
understanding that the list was not all-inclusive. it was also conveyed to me
that there are currently no chat sites relating to theosophy.  i am relaying
this information not to fuel any burning embers to berate the society or its
officers for its lack of participation in discussion sites.  i only intend to
convey these facts in a neutral position and for the benefit of other
"newbies" such as my humble and insignificant self.
