Yes, and John Mead not quoting you directly is a good example of why the
internet is an even playing field.  You can always repost your original
statement when you find yourself misquoted, and clarify your position when
mis-understood. .  See, on the internet, no one can shout you down or cut you
off.  You will always have an equal opportunity to make your point, and those
who agree or disagree with you can make theirs.

So to return to my original point, since the internet is an equal playing
field, there is no danger of  a Wheaton representative's contributions being
twisted (as you suggested) because they will always have a recourse.
