The School seems to be part of the Institute which is a 501(c)(3) tax
exempt organization.

Every organization has its own operating principles and policies. Here the
discussion centered around the fact that if you are "follower" of Sai Baba,
you will not be admitted to ES. Hopefully one of these days someone will
find out if this is the current policy. Clarity of policy will prevent
surprises.
