Dear Frank:
All that you say concerning the relations of the letters of Judge and
Olcott I am aware of. If history is to be properly valued everything
should be "on the table." My feeling is that if there is concealment, then
there is something which an "interested party." does not care to reveal
because it would damage their "standing" either historically or actually.
So there is some degree of protectionism in this.
I have accumulated a large amount of material on Judge so as to perhaps put
it into print, but am constantly amazed at the amount that is not available
and which would "round out" a good biography with adequate illustrative
examples concerning the way he was regarded.
I understand that the Edmonton Lodge T S has a find list of the documents
concerning the "Judge Case" and this ought to be published. Do you know
how to contact them ?
