Pepe's position is quite popular in this New Age. Even in HPB's time AP
Sinnett thought similarly. The Adept KH responded to him:

"You have ever discussed but to put down the idea of a universal
Brotherhood, questioned its usefulness, and advised to remodel the T.S.
on the principle of a college for the special study of occultism.
This... will never do!"

Alice Bailey also preferred to ignore KH and start an occult college (the
Arcane School) rather than focus on philosophy and altruism. So you are
certainly part of the Aquarian wave. Others (me for one) prefer the Ocean
rather than the wave.
