I'm not saying anything one way or another about being on any particular
"path."
I was merely talking about meditation and the process whereby one learns
that the
object visualized is a symbol for the energy of your own being.

Are you familiar with the "Ten Ox Herding" pictures of Zen Buddhism?
If so, note the last two pictures: The second to the last is completely
empty
and the final one shows a big, fat, happy Buddha entering a village.

Only in the sense that the actions of their lives were the generative
causes.
