Thanks again to Bee Brown for allowing me to use the New Zealand TS
computer. My lectures and workshops appear to have been very
successful with good and enthusiastic audiences and i have enjoyed
meeting with many NZ Theosophists.
I fly out today for Sydney with meeting with my Supervisor tomorrow,
plus being with my children. On Wednesday I drive the 280 miles south
to the farm.
I am more than grateful for the E mail letters I have received and I
will get on the web once the rush of current writing is completed,
possibly by Christmas.
Thank you Daniel for the exhaustive analyses you have sent me. I must
return to my library before i can comment on them. They do advance the
debate and yet i feel that some of the basic issues are being
neglected; not by you but by other E mail letters i have read from
Bee's files. As i see it 1) Paul has every right to write what he
wishes, 2) Paul has opened many fascinating areas of 19 cent. history
for research, 3) debate is needed on his methodology and finally, 4)
as Paul knows I do not believe he has proved his case. However to
repeat i support his writing and look forward to his volume on Case.
Than you also Daniel for all the material you have sent me.
Next a greeting to Ernest and Rogelle. I remember staying with you
every time I make toast and compare our gas toaster with your super
model. I doubt if I have the time to write a paper for your Conference
on HPB. However I will wait until I return and complete the thesis
before deciding. I do like Fohat, particularly the articles on the
Bailey debate, which is a hot issue in New Zealand. I have a copy of
the letter dismissing her from her position at Krotona and will,
someday, write an article on she and her husband leaving the TS.
Thank you also Sophia Tenbroeck. I heard much about your work from
Dallas. Permaculture was initially developed by an Australian and i
know of his system. Our own gardening is mainly organic, with compost
plus fowl scratchings being placed on our garden beds, We recently
planted a further 30 nut trees above our new dam. Another matter. Do
you know of any unpublished HPB letters in India? I am sure that
Dallas wrote to you and i am asking again, but I do recall that Dallas
told me that he believed that some of the old members in Bombay (?)
had some letters. My postal address is P.O. Box 532, Bega, Australia,
2550. I remember meeting Sophia Wadia in Bombay in 1973. Hopefully
someday we might meet.
So farewell to the Net and warm regards to you all.
