In the world of theosophy, the number of men and women who are
interested is very very miniscule compared to the world population.

My attitude has always been that we cannot afford to lose even a single
person, whatever may be their attitude etc may be.

It has been my experience that in the long haul, such an attitude has
paid off to the benefit of everyone. While there are many contentious
issues on which I may disagree with many, what is more important is to
let each one decide what he or she wants and to continue as friends. So
I vote to stay neutral but would urge Rich to stay on.
Handling a large volume of msgs is very very easy indeed with an
uptodate e-mail program with "filter/sort" features, as I have found it
in practice over last year or so. Even if the total number of msgs I
receive every day triple in the next few months, my mail program will
help me to keep up with the volume with ease. If I end up getting say
1000 msgs a day, then there are more powerful programs which can analyze
using artificial intelligence and prioritize messsage using various
criteria so that I can still read, review and respond to msgs.
Technology is going to keep solving the message overload problems.
