Dear Mr. Ramadoss:

I hit the wrong key, and somehow sent an incomplete message again. I am
sorry.

With regard to your question of whether my responses were suggested or
coached by anyone at T.S. headquarters, the answer is flatly NO!
I have been following these posting for some time, and frankly became
disturbed at the recent exchanges with allegations of "Theosophical
Fundamentalism" and squelching - which I find divisive and disturbing for the
reasons given in my earlier replies.
I am for some reason troubled by the divisiveness and personality
attacks within the TS membeship, of which we seem to have a gracious plenty.
I have responded in the past in print - mailed letters - when my sense of
fairness was offended by actions taken by Theosophists which crossed the
line, and that was also unsolicited and unprompted by Wheaton.
By the way, for what its worth, my common sense tells me that TS elected
officals cannot and will not for obvious reasons become personally involved
in defending the appropirateness of their decisions, which I suspect are
based on considerations greater than mere personalities. It is, after all,
always difficult to separate the person from his office. A person may
always have personal opinions, the office-holder cannot share that luxury
without risk of alienating some member or group of members. I suspect that
any reply by Dr. Algeo as to his personal opinions with regard to (divergent
- my word) views about the Masters would only be more hopelessly confused
with his official position than it appears to be already, and therefore add
further fuel to the divisiveness.
Yes, these were my personal opinions, but aren't they obvious to all? I
only wonder why others who see the same thing didn't themselves respond?
