You are doing ok.  The fact that you see a crowd of sages,
mentors and guides, standing back is indeed the best thing one
can hope for.  They are there watching over you so that if there
is a serious situation, then one of them will intervene.  Though
it is lonely and painful to see no one is helping, in retrospect
you may find that you are richer and stronger for the
experience..
