I am very glad that you posted these quotes.
In her Convention lecture in December 1986 after J Krishnamurti
died, Mrs. Radha Burnier, International President of TS(Adyar)
mentioned that the continued existence of TS may owe much to
Krishnaji's philosophy of questioning everything -- every idea,
belief and everything that many consider as sacred. Many may not
agree with the assessment of Mrs. Burnier and many like myself
feel she is right. As a matter of fact it was Mr. N Sri Ram who
in an indirect way responsible for many to be introduced to
Krishnaji. I attended an International Convention at Adyar in
1965 when Krishnaji was lecturing across the river from Adyar TS
HQ and the International Convention Schedule was drawn up so that
it did not conflict with that of Krishnaji's lectures and most of
the attendees of the Convention attended Krishnaji's lectures.
Mr. Sri Ram himself always attended Krishnaji's lectures.
I also think that it is in Their plans that Internet to play the
ideal medium for unfettered (uncensored) discussion of wide
ranging views on Theosophy even if some of them are considered as
heretic by some.
Thanks for Theos-talk and theos-l for providing such a forum, at
Internet may be the saviour of the future of TS and Theosophy.
