It was well known that the Masters deal with individuals and
there were many of Their chelas who did not belong to TS.
Ernest Wood had contact with one of Them much before he had
signed up in ES and he himself states that some of the techniques
he had used he found much better for him compared to what he
learnt in ES. It is all in print, in his very rare book "Is This
Theosophy".
