Rich mentioned "Buddhist Hybrid Sanskrit" and I wonder if he could tell us (or at least me) non-Sanskritists, in as simple a fashion as he can -- what is the difference between classical Sanskrit & Buddhist Sanskrit? Why did not the Buddhists use the accepted Sanskrit of their day?
