There could be a ray of hope; with the events concerning OJ and
Magic Johnson: "sport hero worship" might be on the way out  :-)

HPB wrote a whole book full of them. It is called THE VOICE OF
THE SILENCE.  Rather than "principles" they are sometimes called
virtues. I think altruism is the most important of them to work
toward.
